Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is best known for her role as Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) Sweet pea in Sucker punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) as well as Sarah on Geostorm(2017). She worked with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. Cornish earned her first Screen Actors Guild Award with the last film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother. Betty Gilpin made a decision to enter the field of acting due to the fact that she had the support and affection of her parents. Fordham College became her choice to attend college because it allowed her to develop and refine the skills she required to be a professional actress. Gilpin auditioned and began performing Off-Broadway in plays after graduating. Following a brief appearance on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Gilpin landed small parts on Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin continued to get TV guest appearances throughout time. Her first big break occurred in 2013 when she was picked to be an actress in the series Nurse Jackie. Gilpin starred in Nurse Jackie for 34 seasons as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before it was cancelled in June 15th, 2015. In the same year Gilpin made an appearance in the thriller-mystery True Story (2015).
